| Susan Leopold is an artist/illustrator living in Toronto. Leopold's degrees include a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbour, and an M.A. in Medical and Biological Illustration from the University of California, San Francisco. In addition to numerous group shows in Toronto, her work has also been displayed in New York at The Art Director's Club, Society of Illustrators Gallery, and The Salmagundi Club Gallery. Leopold has won numerous gold, silver and bronze medals from The Canadian Society of Photographers and Illustrators and silver and bronze medals from the 3-Dimensional Illustrators as well as awards from the Society of Illustrators New York, Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, Communication Arts, Society of Publication Designers, Print, Art Direction, and Fiberarts Design Annual. Her work was on the cover and featured in Step By Step magazine, featured in Applied Arts magazine and Fiberarts magazine. Leopold's work is in the corporate collections of New York University, Newcourt Credit Group Inc., Confederation Life, The Mutual Group, First Base Inc., National Trust Company, Harcourt Brace, Canadian Microsoftware, Boston Harbour Hotel, and the Canadian Booksellers Association. Leopold's work can also be viewed in Showcase, Workbook, Alternative Pick, Creative Source, and Blackbook. |
